Hi! I'm a PhD researcher studying ancient grasslands in the UK, with a particular focus on the use of indicator species and plant community composition to identify ancient grassland sites. My work aims to support conservation decision making on a landscape scale of this high-nature-value but under-recorded and under-protected habitat.

Contribute to Research

I am eager to understand the status of ancient grassland indicator species (AGIS) in Worcestershire. Are they declining? Stable? Increasing? I suspect that many historic records are no longer present and the distribution of AGIS has decreased significantly. I sadly can't survey all of the records myself (as much as I'd like to), so if you would like to help me, join my iNaturalist Project!
